This page will walk you through the process of using the Noodle Live mobile app for scanning leads at your event. it is a powerful tool for gathering information about specific attendees and the businesses they represent, spreading awareness about your own business, as well as for networking. Follow the steps listed below to get started.
The process described below is applicable to all users assigned an Exhibitor Admin role on an event in the Noodle Live platform.
Lead Retrieval Overview
Step 1. Receive an email with app access credentials
A couple of days prior to the event, exhibitor admins will receive an email with their login credentials for the mobile application, as well as instructions on how to download and access it.
Step 2. Download the Noodle Live scanning app
Download the app by following the instructions in the email or by clicking on the links below depending on the operating system of your device.
For iOS devices, please download the app from the App Store.
* Compatible with iOS 15.0 or later
For Android devices, please download the app from the Google Play store.
* Compatible with Android 12.0 or later
Note: If you have hired equipment through Noodle Live, the lead scanning app will already be installed and available on all devices.
Step 3. Log into the app using your credentials
Open the app and you will land on the app home screen page. Navigate to the Booth Scanning option in the app.
You will be prompted to login and access your Exhibitor Admin account.
You can login via two methods:
Username and temporary password provided in the received app access email.
Your unique QR Code available in the received app access email
Step 4. Change your app password and confirm that you have read the Scanner Operator Briefing
After entering your credentials, click the "Enter" button. You will be redirected to a page where you'll be asked to change your temporary password to a new one of your choice. This new password will be used for all future logins.
After selecting your new password, you will be logged into the app. You will also receive a quick Scanner Operator Briefing to familiarize yourself with the process.
Step 5. Start scanning leads
Once you are successfully logged into the app, you will land on the the branded home page and you will be ready to start capturing leads.
There are two scanning options available in the app depending on the attendees' badges:
1) NFC Scanning
In this case, the attendees' badges will contain an embedded RFID chip.
To scan the attendee, click the "Scan" button at the bottom of the screen and tap the badge on the back of the device, where the device's NFC is located.
2) QR Code Scanning
In this case a unique QR Code will be printed on the badge of the attendee. Click the QR Code scan button at the bottom of the screen and then scan the QR Code on the attendee badge.
Upon successful scan, the lead contact will be saved. Depending on the lead retrieval options enabled for your account, upon capturing a lead you will also be able to:
Lead Grading - add a 1 to 5 star rating for the selected lead.
Lead Notes - enter any additional useful information or notes regarding the selected lead.
Document Share - select and send documents from a pre-defined list.
Email Send - compose and send a follow up email to the selected lead directly from the app.
Upon adding all additional information, click on the "Save Contact" button at the bottom of the screen. Note that you can later edit and update all your captured leads at any point in time, as well.
Scanning App Options
At any point while you are using the scanning app, you can open the side menu by clicking on the burger icon at the top left corner of the app. This will display all available app options and allow for easy navigation.
The following options are available:
1) Leads - provides a list of all your and your team's captured leads. You can edit or update your leads' additional added qualifying information by simply clicking on the lead name.
2) Quick Data - provides real-time analytics for all captured leads in terms of total number of lead scans, emails sent, documents shared, notes added and ratings provided.
3) Settings - allows you to log out of the app, as well as contact the Noodle Live Support team in case you required assistance.
Lead Data Export
All Exhibitor Admins who have been granted Data Controller access will also be able to download all of their leads and additional qualifying information post-event.
Data Controllers will receive an email 24 hours after the event end date prompting them to login to the Noodle Live web platform and download their lead retrieval data.
