📄PrintNode Configuration

PrintNode is a hosted printing service that allows remote printing for web apps. It is a mandatory requirement to have a PrintNode Account registered and configured to be able to print via the Noodle Live Platform.

Your PrintNode account will be created and configured by the Noodle Live team. Please reach out to Customer Support at [email protected] for your Account Login Credentials.

In case you will be utilising rented hardware for your event, the PrintNode Client will already be installed and configured on the printing hardware.

However, if you are using your own equipment, you will need to configure the PrintNode client following the steps below.

PrintNode Client Installation

To install the PrintNode Client on the laptop(s) or tablets which will be used for printing purposes, follow the steps below.

1. Log into your PrintNode account - the credentials will be provided to you by the Noodle Live Support Team.

2. Navigate to the “Downloads” section of the navigation menu under your account. Here you will see a list of the latest and previous versions of the PrintNode Client for different operating systems.

3. Click on the “Download” button next to the relevant OS your laptops are running on.

  • This will download the installation file for the PrintNode Client.

4. Double-click the file and go through the Installation process.

  • Accept the License Agreement and click on “Next

  • Select a destination folder for where the software should be installed and click on “Next”.

  • Select where the shortcuts should be located and click on “Next

  • Click on “Install”.

  • Once the installation process is completed, click on “Finish

Printing Configuration

Once the PrintNode Client is installed, double-click on the shortcut icon to launch the software.

1. As a first step, please log in with your PrintNode account - fill out your email address and password and click on “Sign In”.

2. Once you are logged in the PrintNode Client will start running on the background:

3. To open tje PrintNode Client’s Settings, right-click on the application icon and select “Open PrintNode”.

4. To view all your connected Printers IDs, as well as their status, please navigate to the “Printers” tab.

The same information will be available under your PrintNode account under the Devices section.
