This release delivers improvements to our badge designer and session scanning, alongside fixes for font rendering and UI display issues. Updates include an expanded font library, a new front-to-back badge copy function, and more accurate session metrics in the mobile app.
New:
Copy Front Side Design for Double-Sided Badges: Organizers can now copy the front side design to the back of a badge or label in one click. A pop-up allows you to choose whether to copy just the applied elements, or both the elements and background design.
Improvements:
Session Scanning Quick Data Metrics: The Registered and Walk-Ins calculations in the Quick Data section of the mobile app have been updated for accuracy and consistency with the platform.
Registered now reflects all attendees permitted into the session via Attendee Schedule. If session access control is not enabled, it includes all attendees.
Walk-Ins now counts attendees who were not pre-assigned but were scanned and confirmed at the session.
Expanded Default Font Library: The range of system default fonts available in the badge designer has been expanded, giving organizers a broader selection of typefaces without needing to upload custom fonts. Arial and Calibri are included among the newly added options.
Fixes:
Badge Autoscale Distortion with Custom Fonts: When using a custom font alongside the autoscale function, badge text was overflowing outside text boxes and distorting the layout on both label and direct print. This has been resolved - autoscale now works correctly with custom fonts, keeping text properly contained and scaled within badge templates.
Access Denied Screen Text Overflow: When resizing the browser window, the Access Denied message text was overflowing outside its bordered area and the layout was breaking at smaller viewport sizes. Text now remains properly contained within its defined boundaries across all window sizes.
