Real-Time Data and Session Monitoring
To enhance user experience based on recent input, we’re introducing several updates to improve data visibility and session monitoring within our platform. These updates include auto-refreshing reports and analytics, dynamic session data updates in our mobile applications, new tooltips for enhanced clarity, and a number of significant corrections.
New:
Badging & Check-In Tooltips:
Added descriptive mouseover tooltips for all values in the Event Attendance and Daily Analytics sections of our Badging & Check-In Reports. This enhancement provides users with clear definitions of each metric, improving the overall user experience.
Auto-Refreshing Reporting & Dashboards:
Introduced an auto-refresh feature for key dashboards and reports, updating data at regular intervals to ensure real-time accuracy. This enhancement applies to the following pages in the Data & Reporting section:

Fixes:
Agenda Import with Access Control:
Resolved an issue where sessions imported with the "Session Booking" column filled did not enable session access control as intended. This update ensures that sessions are imported with the correct settings.
Session Time Display:
Fixed a display issue where sessions spanning a single day were incorrectly shown as multi-day sessions. Session times will now accurately reflect the event's local timezone.
QR Code Email Automation:
Addressed a bug where enabling the "Send QR Code automatically to new attendees?" option did not consistently trigger emails to all new attendees. This fix ensures that QR codes are now sent to all new attendees, regardless of whether they were added in bulk or individually.
Speed Scanning Configuration:
Resolved an issue where the "Speed Scanning" feature in the Session Scanning wizard was always enabled, regardless of the selected settings. Now, when speed scanning is disabled, the success screen will display for 1.5 seconds, ensuring that the correct setting is applied for each event.
Improvements:
Live Session Counts and Quick Data Refresh:
Enhanced the session scanning feature in our mobile application to provide real-time updates on the live session count and quick data. The total count and quick stats will now auto-refresh every 5 seconds, ensuring that users receive accurate and real-time information.
Session Sorting Improvements:
Corrected the sorting logic for sessions when the "Allow Overlapping Sessions in a Location" option is active. Sessions will now be primarily sorted by start time and secondarily by session name, ensuring a consistent and logical order.
Badge Printing by Location Dashlet:
Added an "Unspecified" location bar to track badges printed directly from Quick Register in the platform. Also added conditional display for both the "Bulk Print" and "Unspecified" bars and they will only display when relevant badge prints exist, improving dashboard clarity.
