Agenda Overview
The Agenda section of the platform is where you can upload your session list, set session capacity and create session locations.
Note: In order to define session capacity for each session during the creation process, you need to first activate session capacity control under the Session Scanning Wizard.
The page is separated into 3 sections:
Quick Actions - provides quick access to available session and location actions.
Agenda Imports - displays a list of all historical imports of agenda lists.
Event Agenda - displays a list of all already created sessions with their details with the option to manually edit session details or delete a session.
Navigate to the “Agenda” tab on the navigation menu and use the options available under the “Quick Actions” section to start setting up your agenda list.
The following options are available:
Add Session - manually create a new session with all relevant details
Add Location - manually create a new session location
Import Sessions - upload a .xlsx / .csv file with all sessions and their locations
Download Agenda Template - download a .xlsx agenda template file
Export Agenda - export all or selected sessions
Add Session
To add a new session manually:
1. Click on the “Add Session” button on the “Quick Actions” menu.
2. Fill out the necessary session details
Session Name - The name of the session
Session Description - Optional session description
Start Date & Time - Select the start date and time of the session
End Date & Time - Select the end date and time of the session
Enter a Session Location if it has already been created
Define the Session control and capacity options - you can enable either Session Capacity Control or Session Access Control.
To enable Session Capacity Control, toggle the option and enter a maximum capacity for the session (maximum number of people that can attend).
To enable Session Access Control, toggle the option.
3. Once all session details have been set, click on “Add Session”.
A success message will be displayed at the top of the page and the session will be displayed in the Event Agenda list.
If during the session creation process, you have also created a new session location, it will be saved and available under the "Locations" tab above the uploads list (you can toggle between 'Agenda' and 'Locations' to view lists of both the sessions and locations you have created on the same page).
